Health Surveillance

At Carrig Occupational Health, we deliver comprehensive occupational health surveillance to help employers meet legal and regulatory obligations while supporting a healthier, safer workforce.

Tailored to your workplace
We design health surveillance programmes around your industry risks, job roles, and workforce profile. Assessments can be provided:
-
In our clinic, or
-
On-site at your workplace (to minimise downtime and disruption)
Where on-site delivery requires equipment, we can arrange and coordinate this as part of the service.

Combine surveillance with health promotion
Many clients choose to pair health surveillance with optional workplace health checks, such as blood pressure, urinalysis and cholesterol screening. On-site delivery often improves uptake, making it easier for employees to participate during the working day.
This approach provides a valuable opportunity for early detection and prevention. We have identified previously unrecognised issues such as hypertension and diabetes in employees who felt well and were not routinely attending their GP—helping to reduce avoidable illness and support wellbeing at work.

Common health surveillance assessments
Depending on workplace exposures and risk assessment, programmes may include:
-
Hearing tests (audiometry)
-
Lung function testing (spirometry)
-
Vision screening
-
Targeted laboratory testing
